This Ferrari is seen driven by Xenia Onatopp in a chase with Bond is his Aston Martin DB5 on a deadly mountain road in the South of France. Bond causes the Ferrari to go into a tail spin, but that does not stop Xenia winning the race. James Bond pulls out of the race in order to prove, that he hasn't any trouble with female authority.
During the filming of this scene the 355 and Aston had a collision causing thousands of pounds damage, especially to the Ferrari (which was on loan from the company). Ferrari agreed with producers that the crew would not have to pay for any damage as long as the 355 wins the race; hence the reason why Bond loses!
