Notes

Bond rented this Mini Moke in Live And Let Die. Bond uses it to drive him and Rosie Carver to the boatyard where they boarded Quarrel juniors boat and they go to the place where Banes was killed.

Mini Mokes was also used in 'You Only Live Twice' and 'The Spy Who Loved Me' by guards as transportation vehicles in the villains lairs.

The Mini Moke is based on the Mini designed by Sir Alec Issigonis and John Sheppard. The prototype was ment to be a light military off-road vehicle, but due to the small wheel, low ground clearance and low-powered engine it had no chance in the military.

In 1963 BMC build a civilian version and it hit the market in 1964. The Moke was in production from 1964 to 1993. About 50.000 Mokes were produced in total in UK, Australia and Portugal by BMC, Leyland Australia, British Leyland Portugal and Cagiva.
