Very succesful successor of the 156 model. It joins the sporty characters of its direct ancestor with the beauty and elegance of the top class limousines. Could say "very very Alfa style".

Here the mean looking car is used as a villain car in the DBS chase scene opening the film. The 2 cars chasing Bond on the Italian roads along Lake Garda, one is crashing into the front of the Leyland DAF trash truck, the second - drove of the road and ended up on the bottom of the canyon.

While shooting the chase scenes, stuntman Aris Comninos got very heavy injuries after crashing one of the cars. Hospitalised, he finally recovered. Due to the accident investigation the filming was suspended for a long time.
