Pretitle sequence: Colonel Moon uses hovercrafts to force the minefields. James Bond captures one of the hovercrafts and persues Moon, and the chase is on.

15 Ospreys was build and used during filming at Pinewood Studios. Three of the crafts are in working order at the Hovercraft Museum in Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire, UK.

On 6. December 2014 one of the hovercrafts was on auction at Julien's Auctions starting bid: USD 15.000,-. But it was not sold.
