Appearances

This motor yacht belongs to the villain, Aristotle Kristatos. It is seen when Melina and Bond return to Triana in the submarine Neptune after retrieving the ATAC from the wreck of the St. Georges. Bond and Melina are captured by Kristatos. Kristatos want to get rid of Melina and Bond by dragging them behind the Santa Mavra as bait for sharks. But Bond manage to free them from the rope and Kristatos tries to sail them down, but of course they survive his attempt to drown them.

Facts

The yacht is designed by Paolo Galliari and build in Italy by Cantiere Santa Margherita.
It's name in the film 'Santa Mavra' is the name of the old church inside Castle Mavra, Lefkada, Greece.

After filming

The yacht is still going strong under it's orignal name Panther and is for charter in the Mediterranean Sea.
